6:30-7:00 p.m. Sign-in and Credential Attendees

1.         Call to Order (7:00 p.m.)

2.         Pledge of Allegiance

3.         Welcome, Caucus Overview, and Introduction
            Introduce Precinct Committee Person, current and present Elected Officials and Party
            Officials

4.          Volunteers for Block Workers:  Circulate signup form

            The Party is a Volunteer-based Organization Functioning on Donations

5.         Select Ballot Committee (a.k.a. “Tellers”) – at Least 2 (to serve only for this
            meeting)

6.         Elect Caucus Chairman (to serve only for this meeting)

 

NEWLY-ELECTED CHAIRMAN continues Caucus

7.          Elect Caucus Secretary and Treasurer (to serve only for this meeting)10

·         Secretary records minutes/proceedings of Caucus on Official Caucus Minutes

·         Treasurer collects and records fees

8.          Elect 2 Precinct Committee People – Fill out Form (to serve for 2 years)

9.         Elect County Delegates and Alternates(Must pay fees; $15 and $10)
            (See label on Official Caucus Minutes to determine number to be elected secretary

 

10.       Elect State Delegates and Alternates(Must pay fees; $25 and $15)

            (You can only attend State if you are elected to attend County as a Delegate or
              alternate)

11.        Elect Congressional Delegates and Alternates(Must pay fees; $5.00 for either)
            (You can only attend State if you are elected to attend County as a Delegate or
             alternate).

12.        Elect Delegates & Alternates for Multi-County (State House and State Senate)
            Assemblies, if applicable. (Must pay fees) (You can only attend if elected to attend
            County)


13.        At-Large Delegates – County delegates or alternates who were not elected to a
            higher assembly
may volunteer to be At-Large at a higher assembly. Send e-mail
            request to AtLarge@jeffcogop.com to be considered.
 

14.       Election Judges Ask for volunteers and fill out official form

15.       Preference Polls Conduct the polls. By 8:30 p.m. call results to District
            Captain
.

16.       Resolutions: develop and vote on 5 ideas to recommend to the Party
           Platform

17.       Donations for Jefferson County Republican Party.  (Treasurer collects and records)

18.       PAY FEES BEFORE LEAVING CAUCUS DELEGATES & ALTERNATES  

19.       SIGN FORMS:   Elected Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and newly elected Precinct             Committee Persons.

20.       Adjourn (by 9:00 p.m.)

Newly Elected Precinct Committee Immediately Delivers Red-Dot Forms to District Captain.

On Caucus Night, all forms will be checked by District Captain and Delivered to Jefferson County
Republican Headquarters.
